Parser stops parser on certain stanzas

Reported by Sjoerd Simons | January 13th, 2009 @ 12:40 PM

when a stanza comes in that for some reason can't be parsed into an LmMessage, just drop them on the floor instead of blocking the parser. I've seen this issue happen in practise because some (buggy?) client sending an iq with a prefix e.g. <client:iq xmlns:client="jabber:client" ... />

Came on! This patch is absolutely critical. If there's such thing as stable releases (1.4.3.1) one should be done ASAP.

I'm no longer the maintainer of Loudmouth but the best way to handle patches these days is to create an account on Github, for the latest code base and apply the patch. This makes it a lot easier for people to spot and easier to merge in for the person making releases these days (not sure who that is).
